Quickstart

Build your first directory website in under 5 minutes.

Create Your First Directory

1. Create a Workspace

After launching DirectoryKit, click New Workspace and give your directory a name (e.g., "Best Coffee Shops in Austin").

2. Research Your Niche

Click the Research agent in the left rail. Use one of the starter prompts:

  • "Help me find a profitable directory niche"
  • "I want to research a directory niche: [your idea]"

The Research agent will analyze market demand, competition, and monetization potential.

3. Build Your Site

Switch to the Builder agent. Tell it what you want:

"Build me a coffee shop directory for Austin, TX with category pages and a submission form"

The Builder will generate your site structure, pages, and components.

4. Add Listings

Switch to the Data agent to import your listings:

  • Upload a CSV spreadsheet
  • Scrape data from existing websites
  • Add listings manually

5. Optimize for Search

The SEO agent will audit your site and fix issues automatically:

"Run an SEO audit and optimize all pages"

6. Launch

Use the Growth agent to create a launch plan, then the Revenue agent to set up monetization.
